Sekou Doumbouya discusses his breakout performance in Detroit Pistons’ exhibition win
Sekou Doumbouya discusses his breakout performance of 23 points in preseason win vs. Knicks, and playing with Killian Hayes, Dec. 13, 2020.
The Detroit Pistons have waived LiAngelo Ball, Anthony Lamb and former two-way forward Louis King as they look to finalize the roster ahead of their regular season opener Dec. 23.
King, who signed a two-way deal with the franchise in 2019, averaged 15 points, 5.4 rebounds and three assists in 31 games with the Grand Rapids Drive last season. He appeared in 10 games with the Pistons, averaging two points in 6.2 minutes per contest.
Ball and Lamb were both on training camp contracts. Lamb briefly appeared in the Pistons’ 99-91 preseason win against the Knicks on Sunday.

The Pistons now have 17 players on the roster, with Saben Lee being the only two-way player on the roster. The Pistons have one two-way spot open and must make one more move to meet the 15-man roster requirement. Two-way contracts do not count as part of the NBA’s 15-man roster limit during the regular season.
