Zach LaVine and Josh Jackson get in NSFW shouting match (Video)

Zach LaVine wasn’t thrilled with Josh Jackson during the Bulls’ Wednesday night contest with the Pistons.

LaVine, who could be in line for his first All-Star appearance, has star quality with Chicago. The Bulls are among the time fighting for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, with LaVine leading the way with averages of 28.2 points-per-game paired with 5.2 assists.

In the days of old, the Bulls and Pistons participated in an annual rivalry. To put things simply, these teams didn’t like each other. Look no further than the Jordan Rules in the early 1990’s. Yet, those times have passed. While the Bulls show some promise in a potential playoff push, the Pistons are tanking, hoping to rid themselves of Blake Griffin in the process.

So, what was Josh Jackson’s problem with LaVine?

LaVine was upset with Jackson after he fouled the Bulls star to stop an obvious fast break attempt. It wasn’t a clear path foul because LaVine hadn’t take off up the court as of yet, which clearly frustrated him.

Jackson is a solid role player in MoTown, but despite signing this offseason isn’t maximizing his talent in Detroit. In fact, his best accomplishment this season may be stoking the flames of the Bulls-Pistons rivalry, which both teams could use as a little extra motivation.
