Video: How has Dwane Casey Done This Year?

Detroit Bad Boys

Dwane Casey has the Detroit Pistons sitting at a record of 8-21 heading into tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic. Along the way, the Pistons have said goodbye to their two big-name veterans in Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin. They lost seventh overall pick, Killian Hayes, after a hip injury in the seventh game of the season.

Still, the Pistons have some extremely impressive wins against the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, and the Brooklyn Nets. Fans have seen the rise of rookie Saddiq Bey and have fallen in love with the play of Isaiah Stewart.

Many have also complained about the handling of 20-year-old Sekou Doumbouya and the inconsistent minutes he’s received. Before Griffin and Rose left, many also complained about the large amount minutes the two veterans were taking on a rebuilding/retooling team.

Through everything we’ve seen this season through 29 games, we’ve seen enough to give some early analysis on Casey’s season thus far for the Pistons. Has he been good this year? Has he been bad? Has Casey been better than previous years or worse?

I answer this question in today’s video.
