The NBA announced that the Detroit Pistons‘ road game against the Toronto Raptors, initially scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed to Wednesday due to ongoing contact tracing within the Raptors’ organization.
The league is calling Wednesday’s date “tentative,” pending on additional test results from Toronto. The Pistons will play their final game of the first half of the season on Thursday at the New York Knicks, and the All-Star break will begin on Friday. An additional postponement of Wednesday’s game would likely push it into the second half of the season.

It’s the second-straight postponement for Toronto, which also had a home game against the Chicago Bulls delayed from Sunday to a later date. The Raptors had a coach test positive last Thursday, and are also without star forward Pascal Siakam until after All-Star break due to the NBA’s health and safety protocol.
The Pistons have already had two games postponed to the second half of the season — a home game against the Washington Wizards initially scheduled for Jan. 15, and a road game against the Denver Nuggets that was set for Feb. 1.
