Pistons Vs. Everybody: The Dog Days and Cade

Detroit Bad Boys

Lazarus Jackson (@lazchance) goes solo to talk about the Killian Hayes – Hamidou Diallo backcourt, Jalen Suggs and Cade Cunningham as fits on the Pistons, and Detroit’s options in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft.

That, in turn, became a discussion about force multiplication, doing the math on getting to 25 points a night, the mirage of a guard with the last name “Mitchell” wearing 45 in Detroit, a rookie making Detroit Pistons history, not doing the reading, Frank Jackson doing more by doing less, name-dropping other podcasts, JJ Barea the GAWD, watching the Killian-Hami lob 30 times, operating on the weakside offensively, Dudes I Like, Cory Joseph doing less by doin’ tew much, my one concern about Cade Cunningham, doing things at an Elite Level, and much, much more.

This is, somehow, the 50th episode of Pistons Vs. Everybody, which I didn’t realize until after I recorded, and I suppose I would’ve liked to do something bigger to mark that milestone. However, I think this episode is probably a little bit truer to what the podcast is about at it’s core: Me, talking to y’all, about what the Pistons are doing and how we hope they can do it better in the future.

As always, thanks for listening, I really appreciate it. Enjoy the podcast:
