It’s that time of week again where we want to take the temperature of Detroit Pistons fans on all matters related to their favorite basketball team and some NBA topics in general. Here, you will find a couple Pistons-specific questions that are part of the weekly survey that goes out under SB Nation Reacts, and if you sign up to receive the survey you can get the national NBA questions as well.

This week, I was most interested in something that I think might elicit some positive response from Detroit Pistons fans — the City Edition uniforms just unveiled by the league, including what I think is the first quality City Edition jersey for the Pistons since the inception of the concept like seven years ago.

We’ve had ugly gray chrome, confusing black, a commitment to a racing stripe that defied common sense and last year a version that seemed pretty decent … when the Denver Nuggets wore it a couple years earlier.

This year, though, we have a sharp red number that has nods to Pistons history spanning the 70s, 80s and 90s through elements of the typeface, lightning bolt shorts, horsehead on the waistband and even a pop of teal piping.

Speaking of being heard, it’s also time to take the temperature of what Pistons fans are feeling about Dwane Casey in his fourth season in Detroit and year 2 of a major rebuild.

I personally feel like even good coaches can’t do much when they don’t have the requisite talent on the roster so then fans start questioning things like lineups, rotations, late-game substitution patters and play calling.

However, your mileage may vary on that argument, and the kind of coach that was right two years ago or even last year might not be right for today or the future of a Cade Cunningham-led team. So what do you think?
