INDIANAPOLIS — Detroit Pistons head coach Dwane Casey will miss the team’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to non COVID-related personal reasons, the team announced Thursday. Assistant coach Rex Kalamian will assume head coaching responsibilities.
It’s unclear why Casey will miss the game, and when he will return. Casey was present at the Pistons’ shootaround at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 11 a.m. Thursday.
