The Pistons announced Wednesday that they have a new G League franchise — and that new team needs a new name.

The team announced that it’s soliciting fan suggestions through Aug. 11 at www.pistons.com/nametheteam. The new team will play beginning in the 2021-22 season at a new arena being built on the campus of Wayne State University.
