The NBA Draft is about a month away and now that the season is finally over, things can get in full swing. The eight teams, including the Pistons, who were not in the Orlando Bubble, have been doing their in-market workouts with mostly younger players and the others are preparing for the draft after an extended season. In the revised process because of the pandemic, draft prospects will be able to work out with teams virtually or in-person and conduct interviews. There’s no combine to gauge how the players stack up against each other, but most of that information can be gathered from the visits, though those are capped at 10 prospects per team.

It’ll be a different draft process, with seemingly less information about some of the prospects, especially those who played in college last season and had their seasons shortened. As some general managers have said, though, all the teams are on equal footing and have the same disadvantage.

The top of this draft seems to have many question marks, but much of the attention is on the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have the top pick but have a choice to make on which player they’ll choose.

It’s time to look at our mock draft, 2.0.
