Detroit Pistons’ Troy Weaver on NBA draft: ‘Everything’s on the table’
Detroit Pistons general manager Troy Weaver addressed the media on Nov. 5, 2020 and said the Pistons could move up or down in the draft.
The 2020 NBA draft is nearly here, after an unexpectedly long offseason, and teams are scrambling to get in their final interviews with prospects ahead of Nov. 18, the date of the draft.
Teams are allowed to hold up to 10 in-person evaluations with prospects, which can include an interview and workout. Detroit Pistons general manager Troy Weaver recently said the organization intends to use all 10.
The Pistons have the No. 7 overall pick in the draft, and around $30 million in cap space. Free agency negotiations begin Nov. 20.
