Detroit Pistons release second-half schedule

Detroit Bad Boys

The Detroit Pistons released the second half of their schedule for this unique COVID-19 influenced season. The Pistons will play eight back-to-backs and perhaps most interestingly, they will only have one instance of facing the same team two games in a row, but this will be in the more traditional home-and-home model. They will play the Clippers in LA on April 11 and then again in Detroit on April 14.

In the first half of the season, including the preseason, the Pistons had seven instances where they would play the same team in the same location two games in a row. This was to limit travel as a health and safety precaution.

The more normal travel schedule is an indication the league is less concerned about outbreaks as winter turns to spring and vaccines become more easily accessible.

The full schedule for the Detroit Pistons second half of the season is below.
