Inside The Cylinder ep. 104: Where the Pistons stand amongst the NBA’s bottom-tier teams

Detroit Bad Boys

In this week’s episode, Matt Way and I discuss some of the NBA’s not-so-good teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, and your Detroit Pistons. We’ll take a look at what got these teams where they are, and if there is any hope (or desire) for the them to climb out from the league’s basement floor.

Will the Rockets move Oladipo? What’s wrong in Sacramento? And are the Cavaliers truly a bottom-four team? All of that will be discussed, along some more Detroit-centric topics, that include…

  • What our thoughts are on Detroit’s current point guard rotation – will the Pistons re-sign Dennis Smith Jr? And how impressed are we with Saben Lee?
  • Whether or not we’d like to see Josh Jackson moved into the starting lineup.
  • What’s wrong with Jerami Grant? And is there cause for concern moving forward?

All that and more in this week’s episode!

And as always, make sure to subscribe to the Detroit Bad Boys podcast, where you’ll find new episodes of ITC. And if you’re on Twitter-dot-com, feel free to give us all a follow @InsideTheCylndr, @waymatth and @THE_FERNANTULA!
