Hey everyone. This is Laz Jackson of Detroit Bad Boys, and on this week’s episode we talk about your 12-33 Detroit Pistons. Ben Gulker and I talk about what did – and didn’t – happen at the trade deadline for the Pistons, the impact of Jerami Grant’s quad contusion (just rest him, please) and Blake Griffin’s heel turn in his return to Little Caesars Arena.
We are solidly – SOLIDLY – in the dog days of the NBA season for your Detroit Pistons. The team is not good, but they need to be not good enough to compete with other not-good NBA teams in order to solidify draft position. We’ve seen the young guys play well and fight hard, but teams are starting to develop a scouting report on the young guys and force them to play to their weaknesses. This is not making for an enjoyable viewing experience… but Ben and I are glad we have each other, and y’all.
