Pistons, new jersey sponsor launch ‘Home Lottery Sweepstakes’

Detroit Bad Boys

All Detroit Pistons fans are looking for a reason to celebrate on NBA Draft Lottery night, but one lucky fan will have 100,000 more reasons to celebrate courtesy of a new sweepstakes offered by the Detroit Pistons and the team’s new jersey patch sponsor United Wholesale Mortgage.

The two are teaming up for the “Home Lottery Sweepstakes” featuring six locations around Detroit to enter or via online at pistons.com/uwmhomelottery.

The most interesting aspect of this contest is that even if the Pistons suffer the ultimate humiliation on NBA Draft Lottery night — falling all the way to the No. 6 pick — well, hey, at least we can all be happy that someone is going to win up to $100,000.

The contest is open until June 17, with six finalist notified on June 18 that they are invited the Detroit Pistons Draft Lottery party. Each of the six finalist will be given a draft slot and wherever the Pistons end up picking that person will be named the grand prize winner.

The other five finalist will receive $5,000 toward their home mortgage, get to shoot at the Pistons Practice Facility and take part in a meet-and-greet with recent Hall-of-Fame designee Ben Wallace as well as UMW President and former Michigan State basketball player Matt Ishiba.

Now all the Pistons need to do is win the NBA Draft Lottery. Let’s do that next!
