Motor City Hoops: An outsider perspective on the Pistons from Chris LeBron

Detroit Bad Boys

Chris LeBron from the OffTheBall Podcast (@OffTheBallPod) and network (@OTB_Network) joined the Motor City Hoops podcast (@MotorCityHoops) to give his thoughts on the state of the Detroit Pistons organization, their off-season and the first two games of NBA Summer League.

Chris is the Owner of the OffTheBall Network and Host of the OffTheBall Podcast and all around great NBA basketball mind. I very much enjoy bringing “non-Piston” guests on the podcast so we can get an outside and completely unbiased opinion on the organization and its players.

On this episode, Chris and I, discuss and analyze Troy Weaver and the impact he has had on the Pistons and how he sees the future of the franchise. We take a look at many of the off-season moves that have happened and talk about the Pistons first two Summer League games.

As always, we finish off the episode going Around the NBA but this episode we have a special emphasis on Chris’ team, the New York Knicks. We do still touch on a few other specific situations around the association like Ben Simmons and moves that we liked (or did not like) the most.
