Detroit Pistons have NBA’s third-worst win total projection for 2021-22 season

Detroit Free Press

The Detroit Pistons‘ over/under regular season win total has been set at 25.5 on Caesars Sportsbook.

That is the third-lowest win total for the 2021-22 season among the 30 NBA teams, besting Orlando (23.5) and Oklahoma City (22.5).

Both the Pistons’ over and under are set at minus-110, meaning a $110 bet would yield a $100 profit. They must play at least 79 games of the 82 scheduled, per the sportsbook.

DraftKings has the Pistons’ win total set at 24.5 (-120 on over; +100 under).

The Pistons’ 2021-22 schedule, released Friday by the NBA, starts with a home-and-home against the Chicago Bulls, Oct. 20 in Detroit and Oct. 23 in Chicago.

The Pistons are 3.5-point underdogs for the opener at Little Caesars Arena on DraftKings. The Pistons’ moneyline is +145; the Bulls are -165.

The Pistons’ opening night lineup likely will feature Cade Cunningham and Killian Hayes in the backcourt, with Saddiq Bey and Jerami Grant at forward, and Isaiah Stewart at center.

The Bulls will also feature a new-look lineup with Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Williams and Nikola Vucevic.
