A half-dozen NBA playoff teams reportedly have interest in Bojan Bogdanovic. But he’s not the only trade target the Pistons have to offer.

With a season-ending injury to Cade Cunningham, it seems the Pistons are embracing tank mode as they contend with the worst record in the NBA. This was further solidified after they promoted Jalen Duren to the starting five initiating a shift toward youth development.

As such, the Pistons have emerged as a possible trade partner for many NBA teams. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been a scoring machine for the Pistons and a name that’s circulated in trade rumors, but the Pistons are reluctant to trade him. After all, he’s playing the best basketball of his career and can certainly help Detroit next season. Regardless, there are several, additional players that could make viable trade candidates from the Detroit Pistons.

What other players on the Pistons could help a contender?

3. Saddiq Bey

Bey had the opposite of a sophomore slump last season averaging 16 points, 5.4 boards, 2.8 dimes, 2.6 3-pointers and .9 steals per game. His field goal percentage wasn’t ideal at 39.6, but Bey’s ability to stuff the stat sheet more than made up for it. He also threw down a monstrous 51-point game against the Magic with 10 3-pointers. With the arrival of Jaden Ivey, it made sense that Bey’s usage might take a hit, but Bey is having a surprisingly down season. In fact, Bey was recently demoted to the Pistons bench. Shortly thereafter, calls started coming in for him.

Bey seems like a potential buy-low opportunity, but rumors have been swirling that Detroit would entertain trading Bey for a first-round pick which isn’t cheap. However, for a team like the Lakers desperate for perimeter shooting, Bey could be worth the gamble. At a mere 23 years old with a 50-piece under his belt, it’s not crazy to think Bey has plenty of untapped upside.  However, with his bench demotion and public knowledge of their asking price, it seems the Pistons aren’t fully sold on Bey.
