Detroit Pistons full preseason schedule 2023: Lone home game to feature Phoenix Suns

The Detroit Pistons released their 2023-24 regular season schedule last week. Now, we know their remaining preseason games.

The Pistons on Thursday announced their four-game preseason schedule, which begins against the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 8 at Little Caesars Arena. Pistons new head coach Monty Williams was fired by the Suns in May after losing in the conference semifinals.

The Pistons will then go to Canada to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in Montreal on Oct. 12. The slate will conclude with a road back-to-back against the Thunder at BOK Arena in Tulsa on Oct. 19, and Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 20.

Detroit’s game in Montreal was previously announced, one of two games scheduled for the NBA’s Canada Series 2023. The Sacramento Kings will face the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver on Oct. 8.

The Pistons will open their regular season slate in Miami against the Heat on Oct. 25, and will open their home schedule against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 28.

The Pistons will begin training camp Oct. 3 at their practice facility in Detroit with increased expectations, following a league-worst 17-65 season.
